God's Art Gallery

We live in an art gallery of divine creativity and yet are content
to gaze only at the carpet.
-Max Lucado in God Came Near
Apparently this is what I do . . . although it's not just sunsets I chase. The title came one late afternoon as I called to let my husband know I'd finished my trip to the grocery store but was just trying to find the perfect spot to capture the sunset that night. The colors were beautiful and it was eluding me . . . and time was running out. I couldn't find a spot high enough to get the full picture. "Off chasing sunsets," he says casually. I just laughed. The phrase stuck.

Some things cannot be accomplished in a day. Even God does not make a glorious sunset in a moment. For
several days He gathers the mist with which to build His beautiful palaces in the western sky."

-Streams in the Desert

The Artist

For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they (people) are without excuse. ROMANS 1:20

We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them . . . He has not left Himself without testimony. ACTS 14:15,17
